In this video, we will see how to check the oil in a Kia Rio; it is advisable to always check the oil before a long journey. We park the car on a flat surface, open the hood and locate the oil dipstick, which usually has a very visible yellow handle. We pull out the dipstick, clean it with a rag, put the dipstick back completely into its housing, pull out the dipstick again without turning it: now we can make an accurate reading. The oil level should be between the "min" and "max" marks. If the level is close to "min" we need to add oil using only the motor oil recommended by the manufacturer, finding the filling cap and adding a little at a time and then checking each time with the dipstick. NEVER exceed the maximum level, it is very dangerous.
