How to Install Reading Lights on Kia Stonic and Kia Rio

For safety, it is best to disconnect the battery before working on the electrical system. Using the spatula, gently remove the fabric cover near the existing light fittings above the front seats: if there are existing connectors, unlock them, connect the wires of the new lights to the original connectors. If the model does not have a pre-wiring, power it with dedicated wires, ensuring correct polarity, and secure the wires with cable ties. Before closing everything, reconnect the battery and test the functionality, then reposition the roof panel, pressing until you hear the click of the fastening.
