After performing work on your Kia Sportage that required disconnecting the battery, the "One Touch" function of the window controls (which allows you to open and close them with a single click) often stops working. Here's how to reset it. Turn on the ignition, fully close the window, and continue to hold the button for 2 to 3 seconds. Test it, and now the "one touch" control should be functioning again. This procedure must be repeated for each window that has lost its memory, which means all of them. Disconnecting the battery causes the system to lose the reference of the window's position when fully closed. This way, you communicate the "zero point" to it.
