In this tutorial, see how to adjust the handbrake on the KIA Sportage, a very simple and quick operation. First, park the vehicle on a flat surface with the first gear engaged, then go to the rear seat and unclip the cover located at the back of the centre console. Next, open the glove compartment located inside the armrest, remove the bottom panel, and locate the adjustment nut. At this point, simply tighten the nut with a long 12 mm socket until the desired tension level is reached.
