Once the shell is separated, locate the button cell battery and remove it, taking care of the orientation.

Insert the new battery of the same type, ensuring the correct polarity, then close the fob by pressing until the clips snap into place. Reinsert the mechanical key into its slot and check the proper functioning of the lock and unlock buttons.
