To correctly replace the small battery inside your first-generation Kia Niro key, you only need a flathead screwdriver and a new battery, which is a CR2032 3V in this case. First, remove the protective cover using the screwdriver, then locate the battery holder and pull out the old battery. Once you have removed the exhausted battery, simply insert the new battery and reassemble the protective cover of the key correctly. Test the key's functionality, and you are done.
