How to reset the maintenance light in a Kia Picanto

To reset the maintenance light on a second-generation Kia Picanto, get in the vehicle and turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Use the buttons on the steering wheel or dashboard to access the onboard computer menu.

Scroll to the Settings or Service section, then enter the maintenance interval option. Select the reset option and hold the confirmation button until the system resets the interval.

Once completed, exit the menu and turn off the ignition. Turn the ignition back on to verify that the maintenance light is no longer present on the display.
