How to Remove the Car Radio from a Kia Sportage

Before you begin, sit in the driver's seat of your Kia Sportage. Start by prying off and removing the side covers of the dashboard using a thin but sturdy tool.

This will reveal the screws that secure the radio frame, which you need to unscrew and remove, then unclip and take out the frame itself. Next, unscrew and remove the screws that secure the car radio to the dashboard, then pull out the car radio and disconnect the relevant electrical connectors to complete the removal.
