First, completely turn off the car and park it safely on a flat surface. Locate the lower panel of the gear lever and pull it upwards with your hands, being careful not to damage it. Then, remove the panel with the leather insert by turning it anti-clockwise. Once at the gear knob, unscrew it and remove it. Finally, refit the panel and then screw on the new gear knob.
