Replacing the battery of the Kia Sportage is possible by opening the bonnet and accessing the engine bay, locating the battery on the right side of the engine bay, at mid-height. Once located, loosen the bolts securing the terminals connected to the battery and move them aside to remove the cover that encases the device. Now, loosen the screws at the base of the battery so that it can be grasped by its handles and removed. After removal, insert a new battery that must be properly connected and secured.
