In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the coolant expansion tank in a KIA Optima, a very simple operation. Before doing this, it is advisable to completely drain the system, which can be done by disconnecting the lower radiator hose and unscrewing the cap of the tank itself. Once all the fluid has drained, disconnect the indicated hose and unscrew the two mounting bolts using a 10 mm socket. Next, secure the replacement part, reconnect the hose, and add the necessary amount of coolant to the system.
