How to Replace the Key Fob Battery on a Kia Optima

This brief and simple video tutorial shows how to replace the single CR2032 3V battery in the key fob of a Kia Optima produced from 2010 to 2015. First, remove the emergency key by pressing the release button next to it. Next, insert a flat screwdriver into a small rectangle located where the key was previously housed, and twist it to apply pressure on the two halves of the fob to separate them as shown in the video. Once the fob is open, remove the old battery and replace it with a new one, then close the fob by reversing the procedure.
