How to replace the battery of the Kia Optima remote control

To remove and replace the battery of the Kia Optima remote control, we first need to press the gray button on the top of the remote to release the metal key inside and then open the two parts of the remote. Then, we replace the battery with a CR 2032 3 Volt battery. Close the two ends of the remote and insert the metal key inside. Test the remote control by going near the vehicle. If it does not work, it will be necessary to reprogram the key.
