How to Change the Key Battery on a Kia K3

If you need to replace the remote battery for this vehicle, follow these instructions. First, get a pointed object to pry in the space between the key and the cover to release the latter. Then, lift the cover of the battery compartment and use the same pointed object to pry out the old battery. Take the new CR 2032 battery and insert it into the compartment, ensuring the positive side is facing up. Finally, replace the cover and snap it back into place.
