After opening the hood, locate the battery on the left side of the compartment. First, disconnect the negative terminal, then the positive terminal, and then remove the mounting screw for the lower support plate. After that, take the battery out of the compartment and install the new one, reconnecting the positive terminal first and then the negative terminal, and finally reattach the lower mounting plate.
