Kia Sportage - Video tutorial
Model: Kia Sportage
MK 3, SL
- Years 2010-2016 In this video tutorial we can see how it is possible to replace the reverse gear switch in a Kia Sportage. The first thing to do is to purchase a new reverse switch from an authorized auto parts dealer. Get into the car, turn off the car and pull the handbrake; lift the bonnet and secure it with the appropriate rod. Now we have to remove the battery from the engine compartment, so we start unscrewing the negative terminal and then the positive one with a 10mm spanner. Remove the clamps and hide them to prevent them from touching. Remove the 12mm battery retaining bolt and remove the battery from the engine compartment. Now we have to disassemble the filter box and remove it from its seat, then release the retaining clips and unscrew the bolts. Once the filter box has been removed, we must remove the battery compartment, so we must unscrew the 12mm bolts. Once the battery compartment has been removed, we see the reverse light switch, so we have to unplug it, unscrew it with a 24 jack wrench with extension and then replace it with the new one and reassemble all the parts working backwards.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHow to reset the tire pressure warning light on Dacia Sandero?Let's see below how it is possible to reset the low tire pressure signal on the car: first of all it is necessary to check the correct tire pressure by comparing it with the pressures reported in the use and maintenance manual. After that, turn on the ignition and locate the command on the right side of the steering wheel at the top that allows you to access the on-board computer menu, then select the car symbol, after which select the "up arrow" command up to that the indication "tire pressure" appears on the display. At that point, press the "Ok" control on the steering wheel and keep it pressed to reset the signal. by ScegliAuto More videos
