In this tutorial, you will see how to deactivate the passenger airbag in the KIA Sportage. This operation is very simple and quick, and must be done after placing a child seat on the right seat, facing the opposite direction of travel.

First, remove the metal key, then open the passenger door and locate the switch on the side panel of the dashboard. Next, insert the key into the switch and turn it to the "Off" position.

To reactivate the airbag, simply turn the selector to the "On" position.
