To maintain your car's efficiency, regular maintenance is essential, such as changing the oil in the gearbox. The following guide shows you how to do it. The oil should be changed every 31,000 miles if the car is not new. Open the cap with a socket or hex key, and to drain the gearbox oil, lift the car on a ramp and unscrew the drain plug located under the gearbox. Once completed, clean the area around the plug, pour in the new oil, and finally reinstall the cover, tightening the screws securely.
