Changing Engine Oil and Filter

Model: Kia Sorento MK 2 - Years 2009-2014

Obtain the original replacement filter and various seals. Lift the car with appropriate jacks and secure it with suitable supports to prevent it from falling. Remove the front wheels for easier access. Place a plastic sheet under the engine and a container for oil collection. Unscrew the oil cap on the sump and allow it to drain. Close the oil cap, reassemble the oil filter, and top up with new oil. Using a flexible ratchet wrench, gently unscrew the oil filter and remove it from its housing. Replace the used cartridge with a new one. Do not dispose of used oil in the environment; take it to the appropriate collection centres.
