How do you change the engine oil of a Kia Sorento? Follow this procedure. Lift the car on a column lift (jack), unscrew the bolt of the oil sump with a spanner (after removing the plastic protective panel), allow the fluid to drain into a disposal container, and then refit the sump bolt (unscrew the adjacent filter with a socket spanner). After draining the oil from the engine, lower the car to the ground and lift the bonnet, securing it. Top up the engine with new oil. Measure the oil level multiple times with the metal dipstick until you reach the ideal measurement.
