Oil and Filter Change on Kia Sorento

Model: Kia Sorento MK 1 - Years 2002-2009

Position your car on a column lift and raise it to a comfortable height for disassembly. To change the engine oil, remove the plastic/metal panel located under the engine; unscrew the bolt under the sump using a socket wrench. Once the bolt is removed, allow the fluid to drain into a container. Prepare to re-screw the bolt onto the sump with the wrench, then remove the filter container (replace it). Top up with the new oil specific for the engine. Finally, test the correct operation of the gearbox.
