Intercooler Replacement

Model: Kia Sorento MK 1 - Years 2002-2009

This is a complex operation that requires the following steps. You need to remove the front plastic fascia and the front bumper by unscrewing all the retaining screws. Once done, you will have access to the intercooler located under the radiator and behind the front protection bar. To remove it, unscrew the bolts holding it in place and disconnect the pipes attached to it. After replacement (or repair), reposition it in its housing, secure the screws, and reconnect the pipes on the sides. Reassemble the vehicle by reattaching the bumper and front plastic.
