Engine Oil and Filter Replacement

Changing the engine oil and filter is typical DIY maintenance, but it is essential to dispose of the used oil at specialised collection centres; start by opening the front bonnet, remove the plastic cover on the engine, and locate the engine oil filter: it is found at the front right when viewed from the front; position a container under the oil sump and unscrew the drain plug, and while the used oil drains, replace the oil filter cartridge and the O-ring seals; once the draining is complete, screw the sump plug back in and fill the engine with new oil until reaching the maximum level. Finally, reset the service message on the instrument panel: this is a manual operation to be performed using the menu buttons on the steering wheel.
