How to Remove the Driver Door Switch Panel of the Kia Forte Mk2

Model: Kia Forte K3 MK  2, YD - Years 2013-2018

This guide shows how to remove the driver door switch panel of the Kia Forte Mk2. The first step is to remove the cover of the lock handle compartment and take out the star screw. Using a plastic trim tool, detach the retaining clips of the panel, starting from the bottom of the door. At this point, disconnect the electrical connectors of the window regulator module. Remove the four star screws securing the window regulator and replace it with the new part. Check the proper operation of the replacement part before reinstalling the door panel.
