How to Replace the Key Battery in a Kia Picanto 2

If the smart key for your Kia Picanto Mk2 (2011-2018) has suddenly stopped working, don't rush to buy a new one as the solution might be much simpler and cheaper. First, press the button located at the top of the cover to release the emergency key. Next, remove the rear cover using your hands and take out the exhausted battery. Replace it with a new one (model CR 2032) and refit the rear cover.
