Replacing the Rear Headlamp Bulbs on the Kia Sportage

Model: Kia Sportage QL, MK 4 - Years 2016-2022

When the brake light bulb on the Kia Sportage blows, replace it immediately for your safety and to avoid penalties. Open the boot and position yourself near the headlamp containing the bulb to be replaced. Unscrew the two screws along the drip tray next to the headlamp, then grip the headlamp body and pull it out firmly to overcome the resistance of the retaining clips. Once released, rotate it upwards to access the bulb holder, locate the brake light holder in the centre, twist it to open, and remove the burnt bulb. Replace it with a new one, insert the bulb holder, and secure it. Refit the headlamp by reversing the previous steps.
