How to remove the center console and the gear knob on the Kia Sportage

In this video we can see how to disassemble the central console and the gear knob on the Kia Sportage: we start by removing the partition in the driver's footwell, which can be done by levering with a screwdriver or (better) with a plastic spatula. We do the same on the passenger side. We remove the gear shift boot with the knob, simply by pulling it up forcefully. We lever on the inside of the cup holder so that we can remove the entire part, then we open the armrest, and inside we find four screws to remove, and one on each side from the outside. We also remove the screws from the storage compartment at the base of the radio and remove it, being careful with the electrical connectors. We remove the screws under the radio controls and remove the entire outer part of the console. Job done.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
