To replace the rear headlamp on a Kia Sportage, open the tailgate to access the side of the headlamp. Here, you will find a black plastic cover that must be pried off with a screwdriver. Underneath, you will locate the screws securing the headlamp within its housing. By unscrewing these screws, you can extract the optical unit from its location and disconnect the connectors inside. Connect the new optical unit to these connectors, insert it into its housing, and secure it with the appropriate screws.
