How to replace the Kia Sorento 4 key battery

To correctly complete the replacement of the battery inside the key of your Kia Sorento Mk4, you will need two small screwdrivers (one flathead and one Phillips) and obviously a new button battery model ECR 2032. First, press the metal button located on the remote cover to release the emergency key, then remove the cover itself with the help of the flathead screwdriver. Once you have done that, unscrew the battery holder screws with the Phillips screwdriver and proceed with the replacement of the old battery with the new one.
