How do you reset the Service light on the Kia Sportage?

Model: Kia Sportage SL, MK 3 - Years 2010-2016

In order to reset the Service light of the Kia Sportage, you need to turn on the instrument panel by inserting the ignition key into the ignition switch: once this is turned on, you can press the button to access the menu on the right side of the steering wheel. You will need to scroll using the arrow buttons on the right side of the steering wheel until you select the "Service interval" option: then the message indicating how long the service has been overdue will appear. By holding down the OK button, you can make the light disappear and reset it.
