To remove the engine from the KTM XC-W 300, you must free it from its housing in the centre of the frame. This allows you to loosen the bolts securing the engine block, disconnect the intake and exhaust pipes, and remove all connectors attached to the engine.

At this point, loosen the bolts securing the cylinder to access the piston underneath. Disconnect the piston from the conrod, which will then be freed from the crankshaft.

Any internal components can be replaced with new spare parts.
