In order to replace the piston of the KTM XC-W 300, you need to loosen the screws that hold the cylinder to the top of the engine block: before doing this, it will be necessary to free the engine from the appropriate connectors and power cables. In this way, the cylinder head and the cylinder can be freed from the corresponding fixing screws in order to locate the piston inside: the piston must be freed from its seat by widening the corresponding ring and removing the pin that locks it to the connecting rod. The new piston can then be inserted, making sure that everything is functioning properly.
