Let’s briefly review the steps necessary to carry out the routine maintenance service by replacing the transmission oil on the KTM XC-W 300 enduro bike. First, warm up the engine for a few minutes and start unscrewing the oil drain bolt located under the engine; allow the oil to drain into a container for about ten minutes, as shown in the video.

Now, clean the drain plug of any metallic residues, then unscrew the filler cap; pour in the new oil, of the correct type for your engine (a 10W40 is also suitable).
