To change the motor oil of a KTM XC W 300, start by warming up the engine for a few minutes, to make the oil more fluid and easier to drain. Place the motorcycle on a stable surface, ideally using a stand to keep it upright. Find the oil drain plug, located under the engine, and place a suitable container to collect the used oil. Unscrew the plug with an appropriate wrench, letting all the oil drain into the container, ensuring the flow is complete. Once emptied, screw the plug back in, making sure it is tightly secured to avoid leaks. Finally, remove the oil tank cap and slowly pour the specified amount of new oil, checking the level through the indicator or dipstick. Start the engine for a few moments and then check that the level is correct, adding more oil if necessary. This ensures a complete operation and the engine ready to run optimally.
