As seen in this tutorial, changing the engine oil in a KTM Adventure 790 is a very simple and quick operation. Before proceeding, wait for the engine to be completely cold to operate safely.

Start by removing the lower protection panel, then position a container underneath the engine and, using a 13mm socket, unscrew both bolts from the drain holes. Next, open the filter housing, insert the replacement, and reassemble everything.

At this point, simply add the required amount of oil through the upper fill hole.
