You should tilt the motorcycle significantly to the left so that the air can transfer to the other side. Then top up again. Some models have a bleed screw specifically for this service, located right at the top of the reservoir. If air remains in the radiator, the coolant will have more difficulty circulating and will create foam that can cause damage. The coolant should be changed once a year, as it degrades over time.
