In this video, we are explained well what it means if we have to periodically add coolant to the appropriate tank of our car. The cooling system is a sealed circuit, so the level of the liquid must always be the same and can only vary between the minimum and maximum levels indicated on the tank based on the engine temperature when it is running. However, the quantity of liquid is always the same, and if we have to periodically add liquid, it means there is a problem, which can be of three types: evaporation of the liquid itself, a leak in the circuit, or intense use, especially in hot climates or with heavy loads, which can cause the liquid to evaporate. The recommendation is always to top up the liquid of the same color as that contained in the tank.
