Let's see how to change the engine oil on the KTM Duke. Place the bike on the centre stand and unscrew the oil filler cap. Move to the left side of the bike and position a container to catch the used oil under the sump. Unscrew the two nuts on the right that correspond to the mesh plugs, remove them, and the oil will start to drain into the container. Clean the filters with a suitable cleaner. Next, remove the cartridge filter cap, located to the left of the previous filters, and pull it out of its seat. Once the old oil has drained, begin refitting the cartridge filter, applying a thin layer of oil to the rubber seals and the two mesh filters, tightening the plugs with a torque wrench. Now add new oil using a funnel: first, pour in about two litres, start the bike, and run the engine for a few minutes, then finish filling the sump with about 0.8 litres, checking the correct level with the appropriate sight window.
