In this tutorial, you will see how to change the engine oil in the KTM 1290 Super Adventure S, a very simple and quick operation. First, wait until the engine is sufficiently cool, then position a container underneath it, locate the drain holes, and unscrew the respective plugs using a socket spanner.

Allow all the oil in the system to drain out, remove the secondary filter, and clean it of any dirt residue. At this point, simply open the main filter housing, insert the replacement, reassemble everything, and pour in the new oil through the designated opening.
