In this tutorial we can see how to replace the engine oil in the KTM 1290 Super Adventure, an extremely simple and fast operation. First of all, we wait for the engine to be cold enough, then we position a container underneath it and remove the protective cover. We then unscrew the bolts of the two drain holes with a 13mm socket wrench, let the oil contained in the system drain out, open the filter housing with an 8mm wrench and insert the replacement. At this point, all that remains is to reassemble everything and pour the new oil through the appropriate upper hole.
