To change the motor oil of a KTM 390, start by making sure the motorcycle is on a flat and stable surface. Lift the motorcycle using a center stand or appropriate support. Remove the oil drain plug, located on the bottom side of the engine, using a ratchet wrench. Place a container under the drain plug to collect the used oil as it drains out. Wait until all the old oil has been completely drained. Once the oil has been drained, replace the drain plug by screwing it tightly to prevent leaks. Next, locate the oil fill plug, which is usually located on the top of the engine. Remove it and use a funnel to pour in the new motor oil, making sure to use the type and quantity recommended by the manufacturer. After adding the oil, screw back the fill plug and start the engine for a few minutes, then turn it off and check the oil level to ensure it is correct. Finally, check for any leaks and make sure everything has been reassembled correctly. This will ensure that the engine operates optimally and without issues.
