In this tutorial, we will see how to change the engine oil on the Kymco AK 550 scooter, a very simple and quick operation. First, ensure that the engine is cool enough to operate safely, then place a container under the scooter, locate the bolts of the two drain holes and unscrew them using a 17 mm socket.

Allow all the oil in the system to drain out, remove the filters and clean them of any dirt residue. At this point, simply reassemble everything and add the necessary amount of oil through the designated upper hole.
