To change the engine oil on a Kymco AK 550, unscrew the oil drain plug located at the central lower part of the bike, near the start of the exhaust. Once the plug is removed, collect the used oil in a suitably positioned container. Wait for the oil to completely drain, then replace the oil filter located in the same position as the drain plug. Finally, top up the oil by pouring it into the breather located on the left side of the bike.
