How to reset the V-Belt light on a Yamaha Xmax 250?

On the Yamaha Xmax 250, to reset the V-Belt light, insert the key into the ignition switch and turn it to switch on the instrument cluster. To reset the light, pull in the lever located at the base of the right handlebar.

While holding the lever, the light will start to flash until the kilometres remaining until the next replacement are reset. Once the kilometres have increased, you can release the lever and complete the procedure by turning off the instrument cluster.
