First of all, place the scooter on the central stand and let the engine warm up for a couple of minutes; after which we unscrew the oil vent bolt that we find under the engine, using a ratchet wrench, letting the oil drain into a container for about ten minutes. At this point we are going to pour the new engine oil from the filling hole that we find on the crankcase, near the muffler silencer; then fill up to level!

How to change the engine oil of the Yamaha FZ6?

To be able to change the engine oil of the Yamaha FZ6 you have to unscrew the oil tank drain plug, which is located in the lower part of the bike, near the initial part of the muffler. Once unscrewed, it will be possible to collect the used oil in a suitably positioned container; near the drain plug there will also be the oil filter, which must be unscrewed and replaced with a new one. After these operations it will be possible to top up, inserting the new oil from the breather which is positioned on the crankcase on the right side of the bike.
