To replace the battery on the Kymco Downtown 300i, lift the seat to access the under-seat compartment. This compartment, along with its seat, must be removed by loosening the corresponding screws. Once the compartment is removed, you can access the battery located between the two rear shock absorbers. The device must be extracted from its housing by loosening its fixing bolts and disconnecting the terminals connected to the battery. A new replacement part can then be inserted, and all other parts can be reassembled.
