To replace the air filter on a Kymco AK 550, you need to remove the plastic panel located between the steering column and the fuel filler cap. To do this, loosen the two screws at its base and detach the upper panels. Once the plastic panel is removed, there will be another panel secured by five screws underneath. After removing these screws, you will have access to the air filter, which can be pulled out of its housing and replaced. Finally, reinstall the previously removed panels.
