To change the gear oil of the Kymco Xciting 250, loosen the screws securing the drain plug of the transmission casing, which contains the gear oil: once this plug is loosened, you can collect all the used oil in a suitably positioned container. When the oil has completely drained, insert the new transmission fluid through the corresponding refill breather: this will always be located on the casing, but at its upper corresponding part.

After refilling, you can reinsert the plug.
