Today's instructions will show us how to disassemble and replace the battery of the Kymco AK 550 scooter, following these simple steps. First, we put the scooter on the center stand and start disassembling and removing the front plastic windshield, unscrewing the fastening screws; we will find the battery compartment on the back, as shown in the video. At this point, we disconnect both battery terminals (positive and negative poles) in order to remove it; then we install the new one, of the correct type and with the same amperage, finally reassembling the windshield!
