How to Solve the Sticky Plastic Problem in the Lancia Lybra

Many owners of this Lancia model will have noticed a sticky sensation on all the plastic elements that cover the interior, especially in warm weather; essentially, these plastics have a coating that tends to become gummy and particularly sticky to the touch over time. The solution is to remove all the trim elements to completely eliminate this layer using either a paint stripper as shown in the video or an acrylic solvent. Once all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned, apply a coat of primer and then paint.
